SOCIAL JUSTICE DAYS

Social Justice Days, Oct. 7-8, 2020 is a two-day virtual event for prospective high school students interested in social justice. Participants will have the opportunity to take a class with a social justice topic and learn more about our efforts to continue to foster a welcoming environment and a positive experience for all students.

Wednesday, Oct. 7, 6-7 p.m. You'll take a special class taught by a member of our faculty in which you'll unpack topics like power, privilege and race. You'll experience the rigor and vigor of a Connecticut College classroom while enhancing your own understanding of—and approaches to—fostering inclusivity.

Thursday, Oct. 8, 6-7:30 p.m. On day two of the program, you'll learn more about social justice within the larger context of higher education. In addition, you'll hear from Conn students about their social justice projects and from campus leaders who work to promote inclusivity, representation and an overall positive experience on campus.
